THE SHORT VERSION

Everything under
the deploy button.

I’m Hugo Spriet, a Site Reliability Engineer based near Metz. I look after the layer most people never open: the accounts, the networks, the pipelines and the alerts that decide whether a release is a non-event or a long evening.

I came up through the helpdesk, then systems administration, then leading a client migration from the first meeting to the post-migration review. It is a fast way to learn that the hard part is rarely the technology. Today I run cloud infrastructure at Kamorion while finishing an MSc in Cloud & Cybersecurity at Epitech, and I spend my own hours on AI and on collecting and making sense of data. I also run a company of my own, building a product in fintech.

The method has not changed since the helpdesk: map what depends on what, pick an option, write down why, then measure whether it held. I have shipped things that worked and things that did not, and the second kind taught me more.
